My suggestion would be to find some local and regional trade shows as quickly as possible. Also the national(s), as well.
Seek out the trade associations, both national, regional and state for appliance dealers.
You may have to join to get their members lists, but that would be a way to start.
You can also buy mailing lists, subscribe to trade publications, possibly place ads in the trade publications, attend and even speak at seminars, which are often part of the trade shows.
And get in your car and start making calls.
You might start with the National Association of Wholesalers (NAW), which is an umbrella group composed of a number of specialized associations. That will probably tie you into the National Association of Appliance Dealers or some such organization.
Seems to me you would have all this straight before getting started?
