Wasn't meant as a snide remark at all greedyboy. My best mate and best man is a taxi driver and he is doing very well (drives a brand new JAG anyway), but it's not the sort of thing people start off doing as a career goal and is often a "fall back" position, as it was my for my friend who was forced into it when he and his wife split up and fell into debt.
I merely mentioned it for those reasons only. I feel sure that if many people saw what most good taxi drivers earn in cash, they would consider it themselves.
