The selection you make is the one you choose.... that is your choice... the options are the offerings [or lack of] to make the choice from..... if eggs are on the menu.... you can choose to have eggs.... or you can choose not to have eggs.... therefore two options for you to choose... therefore two choices.... even if there is only one item to select you still have to choose to have or not to have that item.... basically.... take it or leave it.... you can choose to take it [choice one].... or you can choose to leave it [choice two]
