I don't think he meant to mention ebid in your auction, as ebay will probably pull them
What you could do is send out a compliments slip, or a thank you leaflet listing your details.
I have started doing that to include my 121bid id (just trying it out, its free so no harm done if nothing sells) and my website address thats currently under construction.
