I was a dealer for them. It seems to me the buy-in was $ 6,000 and they only sold to kiosks in approved malls. That was 2005 I think. In two months I sold about a thousand of them - Cost with batteries (not included) was about $ 13. I sold for $ 39.99, plus $ 2.99 for a 50 cent brush.
Sold $ 40,000 in a mall from Nov 1 until Dec 31. Unloaded the rest at a flea market (bending the rules, of course.) Actually bending them in two ways. First only supposed to sell in malls and second by exposing them to fleas.
As I wasn't going back to the mall the next year I wasn't too concerned with getting "cut off".
Supply was chancy. Many backorders. Certainly could not count on a continuing stream of products, had to purchase huge quantities when they had them, rather than order once a week and turn the inventory.
Made money, no complaints. Don't know that they ship to the UK.
