Default Using Ebay to drive traffic to your website

I've seen discussions on driving traffic to your website from E-bay but I'm a bit confused here - don't Ebay ban any hyperlinks or any web addresses in your adverts ?
I have seen some blatent examples of people doing this but isn't this dangerous?

What are the tricks you can use to get around this?

Can you have more than one user name or change your existing username - perhaps I could change my username to my website address ie xyz_co_uk or is this too blatent as well ?

You use your about me pages, shop pages ect. You aren't permitted to place links within your auction listing, but on your about me page is fine.

Default Using Ebay - a couple of thoughts

dont know how useful this suggestion is but if you have a google search word that you know brings you to the top of a results list you could include something like this in your listing

"For more information just put xxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxx into your search engine"

other than that the best thing, as mentioned before, is to make maximum use of your About Me and provide plenty of links to it in your listings.
