Not bad for your first go. You know what they say though - A picture speaks a thousand words - therefore you really need to get some decent photos of your clobber. Taking them out of the poly bags will be a good start

Thankyou. Yeh, at the moment im just using the back of my bedroom door to hang the clothes on and taking photos with my phone (How low capital is that lol). Looking into getting a proper manakin and a white cloth background, something like that anyway, hopefully they will look a lot better!

As for the poly-bag clothes... it was a late night and I just wanted to get all the photos done lol. No excuse i know, If I want this site to work i better not be so lazy eh.

I only had £300 start up capital and £270 of that was spent on clothes and £30 on the site. I guess I shouldnt of spent so much on stock. But at the moment, im hoping my friends and family will buy something each to get me going, then I can order some more stock + re-do the site. Fingers crossed!

I have found these free skins from the cubcart forum which is no longer active by the looks of it but the links to download seem to still be intact for the few i tried.

have a browse round you may find something you like, it won't be unique but changing a few colours with the stylesheets could work wonders

If you do find a skin you like and let me know how you want it changed I can give it a go i know HTML and css ok and a tiny bit of php. I have a web server setup locally so i could install cube cart and go from there.


It may take i while before i can fit it in but will certainly give it a go.

I've been there and done that. I started off with £200 worth of stock and spent a few quid each month on hosting and built the sites myself. I used the back of my door too. I then upgraded to a hang up mannequin

Keep in there because I started off with £200 worth of clothes and now have around £50,000 worth and just about to move into a busy highstreet store
