Other than TWF (Which I have already agreed to place an Ad on) can anyone give advice or success stories of successful advertising/marketing campaigns to wholesale buyers /market traders/carbooters etc.

My website is in pre-launch stage and will sell/auction ex-catalogue goods, store returns etc from our own stock. but what I would like to do is a little targetted marketing prior to launch to encourage buyers to register with us before we press the 'go' button so to speak.
I have a database of previous contacts, that I have informed and will place the ad as mentioned but would welcome any suggestions on this topic.

I am more looking for genuine advertising opportunities within sites that have a genuine client base that would benefit me and my site.
I understand your approach but I am not too into lengthy sales pitches that although may well be a genuine offer, literally 'bore' me before I get half way through.

I hope that some mebers can offer me some good pointers here of sites that I may be missing.
I know of all the usual stuff, PPC, SEO etc. What I am looking for, is to place ads in newsletters, niche sites etc.
