Yahoo E-Commerce Hosting
What do you guys think about this? They charge about USD29.95 for first and second month and the following are 39USD and now its on promotion where the $50 Setup fee is waived.
Tell me about your opinions

It's sub-domain hosting. The down side is that you don't have your own complete identity and what you can and can not do on your site is governed by your host. For non-ecommerce, Yahoo have been offering geocities.com and they now offer blogspot.com
On the plus side, it can offer a way to get started when cash flow is really tight, a way to test the water across a few product areas if you're not sure what to sell, and it's low cost.
But it's really not that low cost. Check out other options. Both pete and Lewis Sellers do better deals than that and both are registered sellers here on these forums. There may be others. I think their offer includes your own domain name. Also, watch my posts in future regarding internet services in general and online trading in particular.

When you think about it, these offers from Yahoo and the likes are actually quite expensive. If you get your own domain and hosting (for example from one of the forum sellers), you could set up a OS Commerce shop for free (that is if you can do it yourself, but it is not that hard).
OS Commerce is highly customisable to fully integrate your corporate identity. You have to differentiate yourself from your competitors, both from the look and feel of your stores aswell as in regards to user experience (presentation, ease of use, ordering and payment process).

And lets not forget that with Yahoo Stores an ongoing percentage of your revenues gets paid to them.
