Website opinion

Hi All.

1st of all i hope this doesnt brake any forum rules!

I have recently been asked to run a ecommerce website for work and I am soon to be meeting up with the website designer to have a meeting with him.
I would like to be able to tell him what we need the website to be doing and what to look like.
So any opinions on it would be highly appreciated.

It is live but nothing much has been done about it. i.e listing products etc.

How are people going to find the website, are you going to rely on search engines ?

Your photo with the 2 people smiling links to the contact us page, is that right? Im guessing not.

Needs major SEO work just to make a dent on any search listing....

I hope not. Like I said I did not design this site but the two people smiling will probably be the 1st thing I would change.

The website designer has assured me he can work on that. But what about the site itself? Is the design likeable, the layout etc?

Can we ask how much you are spending on the website, budget wise... that way we can give some advise of what you expect to get for your money..

The site is OK if its costing you £30 ... but if you are spending thousands on the site.. then alot more needs to be done.

We want a proffesional looking website and are willing to put the money in.

Maybe look into changeing the logo also.
