Go for it, I have always counted myself as good with IT, even working in the industry, but moving my hosting to Pete was the best thing I have done in a long time. He helps all he can, and never seams to sleep.

As for Cube / OSC do what I did, use the script that is available, install one at a time and have a play with them! I use Cube, my site is not fully running yet, but if you want a quick look its available in my link.

Hi Pete, sorry to intterupt the thread, but I'm wondering about those prebuilt sites, can they be used like cubecart etc??? I have just started an airsoft shop and need a website and the bottom one (electronics) would be perfect if I could just change the categories and add in my items,

Dennis, Cubecart is very easy to use, have a chat to Pete who will offer you good proces on hosting etc.

Dennis, yes it is an osCMax cart, which is a takeoff of OSC, with a number of enhancements that many would want added from the start. So, keep in mind the comparison I made above. You will sitll have to go through a longer setup routine.

But, if you have your items set up in a spreadsheet, you can import them all at once, which is much easier than entering each "by hand". Pros and cons to both. The main thing here being the site is well designed and does just need your payment, shipping and policies added.

I'll probably go to my grave a fan of CubeCart, but any of the OSC types are worthy of consideration. This one will do anything a CC site will, and I'm sure there are way more of the OSC types on the net than CC.

You can't go wrong with either.
