Default Advertising question

Just want to do a research on advertising techniques.

Besides internet, where do you guys advertise your products or services?
do you think the way you advertise your products or services are effective? (if possible, list the range of your customer target group;
example: age2x-3x, mid-income, Office ladies.....etc)

We use a full range of different advertising techniques and different ones work differently for our various ventures, for our business to business services/products we find the website/seo and targetted mailshots work best, (not forgetting of course contacting past customers regularly via e-mail/post to keep in contact), for our other products that are aimed at end users we find ebay usually gets the best results

I think it depends on what you are selling really.

Obviously depending on what you're selling, local events, trade shows, and similar types of venues are a great way to get connections and some face to face business done. It can be a refreshing change for your customers especially since so much business has taken to the internet these days.

While trade shows may be expensive, you could try looking for local community events or other venues closer to you.

i know many businesses who attend trade fairs simply for marketing

they go with the intention of just breaking even

they give out a 5% off voucher for their website with every sale and there you go

a great advertising technique
