Cool Quoting Forums

Say I had created an item, advertised it and wanted to Quote someone from this website to help sell. What are the rules? Do I have to ask permission? State the name of the person i quoted?

Not quite sure what you mean? Can you explain further of what you exactly want to do?

Example: Say I was trying to sell something and I didn't want the buyer thinking I was scammer because my main preference of payment was through wire transfer. So to help my argument I redirect him to the post here explaining why wire transfer "is the norm". Sorry I can't remember the name of the thread. I hope this helps explain. Thankyou for feedback!

P.S, If you no the answer to this, would it be the same if instead of redirecting, I copy the post onto my site.

P.P.S I found the thread. http://www.thewholesaleforums.co.uk/...ing-guide.html

Regards

I certainly wouldn't permit you to copy our content on to your own site, especially without referencing it. This would be copyright infringement if you did. You are welcome to refer people to posts on this forum though, not a problem. Just provide a direct link to threads etc.

I thought articles written by ourselves are our content?

That's what I was asking, would I need to reference it or would it be out of the question altogether. Either way that's fine. Cheers for the info! I want to do things the legit way!

I think you'd have to contact the individual who wrote the article rather than the forum...
