Mailing List Problem - Please Advise?
Many of my customers have been asking why i haven't been sending out any promo mails, when infact - i've been sending them out every week! The problem is that many of my mails are landing into their "Junk Folder"... I'm assuming this is because it's classed as "Spam". Can anyone please advise on how to get my mails into their "Inbox" not their "Junk"?
Best regards,
Steve

Hi when you sell something, you should ask members to add your email address to their address book therefore subsequent emails will go into their inbox.

There is certainly no easy way of achieving what you are asking. The simplest way is to get your customers to add you as a contact or to remove you from their spam filter. Quite often you can hit the "Not Spam" or "Trust this Sender" button and future emails will all be delivered.

There are lots of things to watch out & I don't know what mail delivery system you use but one thing is for sure - if you use double opt-in, results will be much better.
Also - if you use your own website/server to handle all this, it is possible that it's IP address has been banned by Yahoo, MSN etc., So it's better to get a dedicated mail delivery service, like aWeber.com

I use a page similar to the one I linked to below. I'll often incorporate it into the actual order page, or have it between the order page and the actual payment page.
Feel free to copy, if you'd like.

Many here have been through a similar page. I don't know how well it does, but I get very few bounces.
