As you may notice i am new to the whole selling/affiliating ebooks on websites
and i just want ask a few questions just to see what you guys think on my approach to been successful with setting up an online business.
I currently work in a technical role within IT. I have setup a server in my attic (My mum isn't to happy about the noise!
) with Exchange 2003 and IIS6.
My plan is to run multiple sites from my server with each selling as many affiliated ebooks as possible under many different subjects that actually interest me. I will be reading each ebook that i sell and will be writing a review for each book that i list.
I am quite skilled in producing graphics and websites so i'm thinking of making each site simple but effective by using good colours and bold layouts.
My question really is, as i have a good IT background and can get everything setup in terms of websites and IT infrastructure, should the sky be the limit for me as long as my content is good and my advertising is done well?
