I just did a search, cos I know this has been discussed before. Which article sites do folk recommend. I've just joined ezinearticles - and had my account suspended 2 days later. The reason given was that I have an invalid account name. Sounds daft to me. Anyhow - I'd only submitted 2 articles, so I'll just try again somewhere else. Question is, where would you recommend?

Ezine articles is definitely the top one to join, it is worth making the effort to resolve your account issues with them.
Goarticles is another good one.
I would also set up a hubpage account and use a altered version of your article to create a hub, then set up a squidoo lens as well.
I know they are not article sites but articles are just content.
I am also a member of Unique Article Wizard , they have a really good distribution network. If you would like me to plug in some articles for you so you can see if it works for you then pm me and I will send you some info.

Goodness - Helium has a lot to answer for. I'm writing articles like they are going out of fashion, and thanks to Force5's advice now have a squidoo lens and a hubpages site. Ezines have 3 of my articles too. It feels like I'm about to take over the internet. Not sure how I'm going to keep track of which articles I've posted where, and how many times I've rewritten each. My head is already spinning!!!

Update. My hard seems to be starting to pay off. Visits to my site are increasing, and some good paying Google ads are being clicked on. I realise this could be a temporary effect, but hey - I'm happy while it lasts.
It's so weird which pages get used the most. I've spent some time redesigning the most popular pages. They aren't the ones I especially want visited, but hey if they get used I'm not complaining - just redesigning for improved earning power!

EzineArticles.com is definately the top one. They won't allow affiliate links in your bio if that's important to you, and initally it can take a week for your articles to go live.
After that, I would use GoArticles.com who do allow affiliate linking, if that's your bag. Articles go live instantly as well, as far as I know.
I also use SearchWarp.com on occasion. Like EzineArticles.com, they also don't allow affiliate links in your bio, and personally review every article submitted.
There are many more article directories out there which you'll find easy enough through google.
All the best,
Jordan

Thanks for those suggestions - will take a look. Ezine is doing well for me so far and bringing visitors. I've been published as far away as NZ!!

Just to ask a quick question? If you want to write about an affiliate product or something that will lead to a customer buying something through an affiliate link, how can You do that on EzineArticles?
Do You have to set up a landing page with the link in the article, that will lead the person to a sale (hopefully)?. Or can it be to a blog?
I'd love to know
Kind regards
Brian
