Re: Might be a stupid question......
Then the only suggestion that I could possibly have is to ask him, if it is not a software available to general public we could not really have an idea how he has it set up to work

Re: Might be a stupid question......
Ok I will ask him when I next speak to him.
Say though the system was set up in a way were it could be done so all you have to do is "upload a CSV file", does this mean put all prices into a document and then just uploading it?

Re: Might be a stupid question......
if it can support it yes,
like with zencart they have an easy populate plugin which makes it accept a mass uploaded products on a .csv file, all that you newed to do (after it is setup) is upload the csv file and the images

Re: Might be a stupid question......
Ok I see. Im pretty sure he may be able to add this feature, so ill see what he says.
Thanks for the replies.
lol edit - One last question, we use specification tables next to each product, so say we did put all items into a spreadsheet then uploaded it, what would happen to specification tables of each product, would you need to add this separately or would a excel for example be able to cope with this?

Re: Might be a stupid question......
The term is actually "import a csv file". "Upload" gets it to your server, but "import" actually brings it into the shopping cart database. You also need to be concerned with what delimiters are used. "He" should know this, but you must know as well.
