In that case, I most definitely would hold on and in the meantime, you could plan exactly how you want the site to look and function.
Good luck with the site and well done for getting a grant.

Re: my site idea?
looks alot better mate
you missed one tho
THE D & C GAMES TEAM - Happy gaming!
is light blue but now atleast the layout is right. You've also got 3 colours of blue in the information part 4 if you include the bit I just said.
If it was me id make your name smaller then but your slogan just to the right in half its size so it isnt affecting your top menu bar like currently

Re: my site idea?
Its not the worst ive ever seen, but then again its not the best. I would get a pro to do it, you get on with what you do best and sell the products. The thing that did get me and made me cringe if im honest and thats the wii bit, i didnt mind the wii are authorised resellers for nintendo, but then it went a bit over kill.

Pt is right tho getting a proper logo done and a layout setup and maybe a real template setup would make a hell of a difference but if you want to start before then you can risk it but will your traffic really make that much of a difference? As traffic will be low anyway..

Re: my site idea?
To be honest, it looks like a site from the 1990's, but at least the basics are there.
Try going for a web 2.0 style site like this template, which your funding should help to create.
Thanks, Darren

Re: my site idea?
Hi, Agree with most, the logo needs sorted - also to me the curve design (top right) looks like its overbleeding colour from middle curve to bottom curve (might just me my laptop). I am also not keen on the colour of the checkout & view carts links. I think the body of the page needs to be wider - lot of lost space at the sides. But on a positive note ... I think your on the right track .. clean & crisp, easy to read, it's only a few asthetics you need to change ... well done
