To Nuvi.co.uk,

READ the TERMS AND CONDITIONS of use on my site and desist from selling MY WORK. I will notify the administrators of this forum of your breach.

Here is a reply from the owner of where king tees received his files that where later sold onto you our loyal twf posters. Have you been a victim of nuvi?

I felt this needed to be more openly discussed than his advertising thread

I have just ordered a site from king-tee's and i would like to have a confirmation if this is true. has anyone got a site that looks like the template at the above link?? i do not want to continue with a transaction of stolen goods that are actually free from another site. Can a mod look into these claims?? there are quite a few people who have recomended king-tee's to me and a claim like this should definetly not be ignored!

I've had about all I am going to say about king-tees, nuvi, whatever. In fact, I'm sort of going to take up for him by saying there are others here doing the exact same thing.

I have noticed several clients who host with me who talk about this great guy who designed their Zen template, or their CubeCart template, etc. In some cases I know from looking at templates myself they are familiar, but sure enough, down at the bottom is a "Designed by" link and I'm told they paid 50 pounds or so for their great template.

So, if they are happy, I don't say anything. I'm not going to bust someone who is well thought of, but has had no direct impact on me. I figure that eventually it will come out.

I do, however, have a problem with those who sway a new cart owner into using a cart that might not be right for them, just because that is the only cart they know how to steal designs for. Templates are pretty much the same with all, why not give the unsuspecting buyer a choice of carts, then get the pound of flesh for their "original work"?

unfortunatly for emily and hope she understands why I am posting this link

http://goldcivanti.com/

is a direct use of the modern template shown here

http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic....moderno#p35900

All that has been changed is the banner at the top and a little leaf to one of the bar's

This is against the owners permission of use of imaginetech and he has posted in king tees advertising thread to which I quoted to discuss here.

I think the rest of king tee's "designer's" work also uses the same base with some colour changes here and there unsure wether the owner of imaginetech can claim that his work was stolen though. Definetly was on emily's though

Well if you want something to be done properly do it yourself, why not spare few hrs in photoshop and make your own grpahic.
Never pay for something that you can get for free. He has done good business ...

What a load of rubbish.
I could build a house myself but I'd still get builders in to do it, because they'd do it properly and a good job. The same reason people get a 'web designer'.

Paul, you might do well to talk to Anthony about this. It seems to me once people get talking about violating rights and agreements, etc. it's time for an arbitrator, and Anthony seems to be fair handed in these situations.

This guy is 17 years of old.. I don't know whats going on with the templates etc and i'm not about to jump down anyones throats but it doesn't suprise me that this is happening after the way he has been with me and Nic.

He's taken advantage out of our niceness and completely used it against us, looks like he has done it twice now.
Obviously the designs and stuff arent done by king tees himself incase people didnt know that so all of this isnt a dig at him as a person. But I think that king tee's should think about what path this person mitch is doing with king tee's advertising these sub par services and also communication with members with a very bad person to deal with it seems from emilys dealings with mitch king tee's "designer".

I must say this is giving king tees the person a bad name offering these service's I feel he should close his design service's for design completely to savour his name on the forum. If enough information hasn't come to lite already for the administration to put a bar on selling these service's.

Maybe for you its rubbish because you are unable to do it yourself and id say if you would spend a time on leaning how to do it instead of writing these stupid posts you wouldnt have to pay anybody and possibly you could make money on out of it (probably same mount of time as you spend on wrinting posts would be more than enough). Knowledge is power. So if i would have a feeling that i need to build my house on my own yes i would do it.

PS. My grandfather built 3 houses and he doesnt complain
