Hello i requested that my bank do a money recall but they informed me that would take 7-14 days.So i waited for about 5 days and my bank got in touch with me on the 2nd dec saying that Standard Chartered Bank in Pakistan require the account holders permission to withdraw the money and return it!We both know that is never going to happen and we might as well wave goodbye to our money!I have informed Standard Chartered Bank of Mr Fiasals activities and they said they would put his account under investigation.Whether fraud is a big deal in Pakistan or not i do not know.I have been waiting for a reply from the compliance officer in Pakistan for over 20 days now.Meanwhile my bank said the only other step i can take is to file for legal action against him.

I think your amount is just too small and the lack of audit trail is a problem.. did you contact the FIA,. they might be able to help you out..

Thank you so much for all your help 5 times but as we both know there was only a slim hope.This hope has now gone as i have been contacted by my bank today.They recieved contact from Mr Faisals bank in Pakistan stating that he had closed his account as of today!!!
