For sending the 9K, yeah, i got that, HUGE mistake, but then again, ive had great experiences with T/T in the Philippines, this is why i got fooled this time. call it beginner's luck. lesson learned. (i also actually trusted alibaba gold member just like we trust ebay)
Might be important to say that i also begun negotiating a second purchase with this guy, and i was very explicit that i would send no money until the first order arrived safely here; to validate mutual trust. So, he knows i wont send any more money until the first one gets in, knew it for a while now and he still replies to my emails. this is why im so confused. its in the very grey zone as to whether its a scam or not.

Sorry but he won't be bothered about the next order as you have just sent him the equivalent of 3+ years wages in the uk!

Thats exactly my point. Although he has the money and could already just run for a nice vacation in europe on my wallet, he keeps replying to my emails cordially and trying to make this EMS thing work. He also gave me quotes for the second order, even when he knew from the start i would never pay for it before the first goods arrived. (although he did postpone the quote for an addition i made to the second order).

since i cant add attachments, i put the EMS receipt he sent me online, maybe some of you can see if its real, or fake or something. Perhaps some detail i can not notice.

It seems to me its a lot of effort for a scammer that already has my bucks.
note: i hid my personal information.
thanks!

Still in email contact, EMS is always slow and herbal extract doesn't have the scammer appeal that ps3's do. If I was to bet I would bet in your favour.

Keep checking your countries own online postal system as it may get updated there once it reaches the borders before EMS even do.

And herbal extract may be investigated coming into the country.
I'd imagine it's the sort of thing to catch someone's attention.

As Pete said, and as someone that used to check out parcels that were of "Herbal Extract" at the customs point. I would agree there is a good chance that this item gets stopped at UK Customs.
