Hello everyone,

being an alibaba newbie, i paid this company via T/T for an herbal extract for (9K) 2 weeks ago ( "Anhui minmetals" ) whcih is gold supplier. Supposedly, the package shipped last Wednesday, and i even received a scanned EMS receipt (i can't upload attachments, can send it by email if some want to see it, just pm me). since then, EMS shows no tracking information for the tracking number.

the thing i was wondering is, if this is a scam, why would the guy still reply to me? he said he was going to check with EMS why there was no tracking info and maintains the service, he still replies to my emails, etc. but i wonder, he already has the money, why would he bother replying to me (we exchanged over 15 emails since the payment). why wouldn't he just ignore my emails?

He wants more money. He'll most likely tell you your package is in customs and needs import duty paying. You've been warned!

Or he could be legit, tracking does sometimes take a while. Either way it's out of your hands now.

For me, the time it takes for tracking information to show on the EMS website is 24 to 48 hours after the item has been shipped.

well, he mentioned the goods had been shipped during the Chinese wednesday june 4th. but, the EMS receipt was obtained friday june 6th (the date is also written on the receipt). If we consider that EMS is closed during the weekend, could it mean that the tracking info not showing up before next wednesday june 11th could be considered normal for EMS?

Why would s scammer keep replying after he got the money?

To get you to send more money for the next order he isn't going to ship.

EMS can be slow updating their system

Never use EMS! It really is that simple. Also never send 9K to anyone who you haven't checked out, again and again.
