We have been having some fun with scammers that got our email and tried to sell us iphones.

Now this place does not allow pick ups for first orders as they need to build trust, ok whatever. They are in UK (they say) but you cant arrange own delivery. Kept asking to prove they are in UK so they gave me their address.

They never heard of googlemaps - asked them if they have sheep and cows and they havent got back to me.

Got another one and he gave me their address and it was an island off the florida keys - did a google and its deserted.

Gotta love these scammers i wouldnt mind but they dont put any thought into it. Would love to know if anyone falls for it.

Im "playing " with one of the "My Aunt has died and I need you to help me move 100000000000 into the UK" type scams at the moment.

I am stringing him / her / them / it along, so I can get them to fax / phone me information, then I will give them a phone number for some £1.50 per min line and move onto the next one....

I even at one point nearly set up a business, just to get the scammers to phone me on my £1.00 per min line, and leave messages! or fax me at £1.50 per min...... But decided against it in the end!

419eater string these guys along, the site had some excellent stories and the best was pretending to be a nonprofit organisation which invested in various projects including a "football team" in england called A***BANDITS. They got the scammers to send in photos of themselves with their friends and families all holding up signs saying A***BANDITS to prove that it wasnt just one person doing a scam.
Also they scammed one scammer out of $300 by getting him to make a token payment - they gave money to charity.
