Not really had so much of an experience with this guy, just a quick convo with him tonight.

He was offering me some iPhone 3G Stock, something which I'm not currently interested in. Rather than having to explain my situation to him (on holiday, relaxing) I just told him that I could source cheaper and wouldnt be interested.

As I wasnt interested in buying from him, He then resulted to throwing a few insults around which being a MSN convo, I just blocked him.

He may infact be legit. But he has a bad attitude, someone who you would probably be better off not dealing with!

2 reasons I would never deal with him, look at his email, nobody professional would use that.

2nd is the fact it has ipod in the domain, I've always recognised that as a trait of scammers to use the products trademark.

Beneddie1112 i dont know what you mean by that. I wouldnt deal with that company, theres no address for starters. Maybe their genuine but like iBuy said you rather not deal with them if their attitude is of that sort of manner

Professional suppliers of ipods would not use a Hotmail address for business purposes. A lot of these scams can easily be avoided if people stop and think

Oh yes i see now what you mean, professional suppliers would certainly not use a hotmail address. I agree totally with Gamejelly. If you stop and think and do some research before buying from someone you can avoid a lot of scams, maybe people get carried away with the too good to be true profit margins that can be made.

Ideally you should purchase a domain name. But what I was saying is that official distributors of ipods would NOT use a Hotmail address for business.

The guy has a domain name - tylolatrading.co.uk! Although I share your view, many legit traders use web mail for ease of use to cruise forums simply to avoid spam to corporate inbox. What you need to see is legitimate VAT and Incorporation certs that you can validate. You will only get these if you deal with volume. No trader is going to bother for small quantities. You are the member of the month and a Liverpool fan based in Norwich - even so, I would not hold it against you! Just joking.
