Avoid TradeTang
I recently bought some branded items from a guy on tradetang, i should of known better, items were all fake, so be careful, i am sure unbranded items are ok to buy but i cant be 100% sure.

Re: trade tang eh?
My mum has bought from trade tang and it was actually a nano chromatic. The actual ipod looked very realistic, but when it came to turning it on, the font was different, my computer couldn't even find the ipod, and the nano wouldnt even accept any songs!! One more thing that really got me, was the setup disc came in chinese/japenese and my computer ''couldnt find the path'' I dont even know what a path is? In the end, I now have to try and shift my ipod and am not going to risk it but get the real thing.
I just wanted to warn you as it is such a waste of money.

Re: trade tang eh?
I purchased from the site, the actual process of paying and them holding your money till you recieve the item is grand, but the items are all fake. As I stated in another post I bought an Ipod from there with my startup £50 paypal money, it cost around $34 I thought wow brilliant this buy and resell thing is easy. It looked grand when I got it but when I opened it and turned it on it was the same story as the guy above.
Could'nt sell it because it was fake, ended up giving it to me little sis and after 2weeks it blacked out, total waste of time. They qoute themselves (TT staff) 98% of products are fake, Its not worth trying you have to do serious digging to get an official authentic brand from anyone, and when you do find them you will also find they are seriously expensive!

Re: trade tang eh?
Spend a bit of time reading some of the threads on this forum and you'll know not to buy branded goods from China.
It takes a bit of common sense as well. Buying an ipod for $34, when they're being retailed for £100+, do you really think it's going to happen?

Re: Trade Tang eh?
hi
i buy loads from tradetang all the watches are fake but if you are just buying them for your self you have to think it doesnt matter, ipods and phones just get different chips n stuff used to make them but they should work on most pc, im about to order 2 phones so when i get these i will get back to you all on how they work. as most people have said alot of the stuff is fake but if you pay a little more on items such as tops n jeans there the same as the real thing. like i have a pair of g star jeans i payed £120 for and some i payed £50 for and i cant tell them apart now.
best thing to do is dont just go for the cheapest thing on the website

Re: Trade Tang eh?
Hi all, I have brought from trade tang many times, i agree alot of the stuff on there is fake apart from the headphones/earphones. I have brought many from tradetang such as sony, sennheiser and shure and they all work perfectly. The prices on the headphones are pretty decent, i brought 10 pairs of sennheiser cx500 for £70 and they are retailed at £30-40 each, and I sold them on ebay for £25 each without any complaints.
I don't think theres nothing wrong with this website, but just make sure your aware of some of the dodgy dealers and fakes. Hope this information helped.
Cheers Adam.
