Default Fair is fair.

Im a member of Salehoo and go by the same nick as here.

Yes it is true that you cant find the deals they advertise. I admit that.

But there is a very large database of wholesalers dropshippers numbered in the hundreds.

Most are reviewed by salehoo staff.

I use a dropshipper that advertises on their site and make money from them. I am one of their limited dropshippers. Meaning they only excepted a few and if I had not been on Salehoo I would never have been able to do so as they stopped excepting dropshippers.

As here, not every supplier has good prices and you have to weed through many to get to the good ones.

I think its unfair to dismiss them out of hand.

Especially, since this board promotes WorldWideBrands which is laughed at by most at Salehoo. WWB is very misleading in their promotions and at the time I tried them was well over 200$ for very much less than Salehoo.

Salehoo is very much like here. And many of the discussions revolve around the same topics as here. Though I like it here, Salehoo has a better user interface and search function.

Planes

Added: Oh and I forgot. Salehoo has been forming buyer groups where members combine their monies and buy large truckloads of stock and then with the team leader splits the profits amongst the buyer group.

There are several buyer groups purchasing tens of thousands of dollars worth of goods and selling for profit.

If they are going to sell a list they should review ALL of the listings, Making money by selling a list with scammers on it ( Even one) makes them no better , In my humble opinion

Well as you may know. Its impossible to weed everyone out. And it is not a list, so to speak.

Most companies have a whois done on them and a Salehoo staff member emails and calls and does a full investigation about payment, pricing and product source. The company is then rated on how they responded to the email/phone calls and the above criteria.

Every company that wants to advertise directly in the forums on Salehoo has to go through the above process. New Ips are weeded out as well as spam type email addresses like hotmail, gmail etc.. .

Anyone may ask for an opinion about a supplier which is in most cases, like here, looked at by Salehoo staff. Which is then provided an opinion.

Just like here, there are approved suppliers who routinely advertise to members who regularly buy from them.

I am happy to be a member with them. I like the member forum.

You don't have to agree with me. All I can say is, have you called and investigated well over 200 companies and done a whois on them? That alone is worth the admission price.

Though I decided not to join the buyer groups, do you have access to a buyer group?

The ones on Salehoo are profiting and the group members are very happy with the outcome.

For me the 70$ was well worth it. And like I said WorldWideBrands was 299.00 when I joined.(They refunded my money very fast.) and isnt near what Salehoo provides.

Do you have access to the number one electronics provider in the US? Who provides product to all the major retailers. I do.

And all from Salehoo.

You guys got my goat a little here. I like this forum and you guys provide a nice different viewpoint which is helpful. But sometimes things aren't what they seem.

I don't know about what you are referring to as I have only been a member since the summer.

They have a rating system. If a company hasnt been rated they dont have any stars. If they are rated they have anywhere from 1 to 5 stars and members are allowed to enter comments as well.

I just logged into my account and went to the supplier section.

I looked under electronics as this is a popular category.

There are 35 pages of suppliers @ 10 per page. Thats 350 companies.

The reviews stop at page 11. So 110 of the 350 are reviewed.(By staff or members)

The five star rating is graded. So the five stars come first all the way down to 1 star.

One of the final reviewed companies is rated as listed below.
I have left out the name of the co. and members on purpose.
Rating: Called the customer service line and spoke with Bill. Bill was able to answer my questions about the company and ordering requirements.

Company details:
- Located in Springfield, IL
- Company is not a broker all items on the site are in hand
- Company does not extend credit
- Accepts all major credit cards, cashiers checks, and money order. No personal checks accepted
- Buyers have three days to inspect the goods. In order to return a product you must contact the company and get a return authorization.

My opinion: A real standard liquidator here. Nothing really special about this company. Most liquidators have good deals from time to time. It is always good to stop in from time to time to see what deals they might have. The company does stress that you meet their MOQ for the products. The MOQ is usually low for most of the merchandise.
By MOQ I mean their deal terminology. I would buy from this dealer based on the chat I had with customer service. The company does want satisfied customers.

Well, First purchase will be my last. Going thru the entire checkout procedure there was no shipping charges, at final checkout, no shipping charges, e-mail receipt they sent me, no shipping charges, guess what? when I received the box, inside was an invoice stapled to it was my credit card receipt copy and they added shipping!! How do you run a company without letting the customer know the total price? And the 5 small boxes were all crushed, which appeared to be from this company, the outside box was fine, it looked like they shoved my items in a too small of a box. Buyer beware!
