Found a company called juiemal on alibaba brought some polo shirts for £450, they never turned up and he never contacted me again. His name was J,Scanlon. anyone else heard of them? it happened last summer went to the police and trading standards but they did nothing. I even have his bank details. is there any way i can get my money back? cheers

I think you have to be quick when getting your money back....Correct me if im wrong. Have you tried contacting your bank?

yeah i did they were use less too said they couldnt give me any details about him, data protection and all that

Hi,

I had a similar experiance. I also went to police etc but it made no difference.

Apparently even the police can not get the money back, even if you have an address, and bank details for them. The Local police even told me that the bank would not even confirm details with them unless they can prove a fraud has been commited. which was what they where trying to do.

Basically the bank says go to the police and the police say go to the bank but they dont work together to sort thing out.

and thats what they call British Justice

I gave up, I decided it would cost more in time and effort than it was worth.

I think if enough people complain about someone, something gets done.....But i think fighting alone is useless

Yea you would think with todays cameras and tracking abilites of bank cards etc they would be able to catch these fraudsters but my old theory will always stand.............authorities dont care if its your money they only care if its thier money.....eg: if you have a movie pirate investigation and a con-artist investigation........they will go after the movie pirate first because business`s are losing money where as the con-artist is only taking someones personal savings..............its a hard reality that we All have to face;\
