Default Scammers using Amazon Marketplace

scammers using amazon market place

i have noticed a few companies and are obvious scam artists that advertise selling things like tvs/ps3 along with other goods at what seem like ridiculously low prices, if you order something you get what appears to be a genuine email from amazon confirming your order but then you some information that says they are no lnger a member of marketpalce but can still sell you the goods direct and ask you to use some kind of money transfer

anyway i did this and was going to get a tv and ps3 but the guy who i phoned from the money transfer company said are the retailers using amazon from Italy, yes i said he then told me of a number scammers and thieves using marketplace to rip people from at the time Italy but probaby more by now amazon dont seem interested though as i phoned them and they seemed non commitant about the subject so dont ask them for help if you get scammed . i'll try and find some links with names and addresses of some known scammers, but by now they will probably have changed there names locations etc. but it is something to look out for if using amazon and ebay also i hear

that is true but the warning is if you get an email saying they DONT use the creditcard method and request the money transfer method then this is the time for alarm bells as all legit marketplace sellers will use the secure creditcard method the scammers dont

Amazon market place is pretty safe in that respect. Haven't ever heard of scammers on there..

luckily with amazon new sellers have to wait 14 days to withdraw any sales cash, so most scammers stick to ebay as amazon just refunds instantly and withdraws from the sellers reserve.
