What I dont get is that this guy has been doing it for years and there are people out there with his banking details, if people make a report to the police why is it that they cant go to the bank and ask the bank for the details of his address and so forth?

The government is hard to hit people when they are cheating with benefits but when we need help there is none to be found!

P.s Labour party sucks!

You should always try to use credit card when buying things online. I asked a relative regarding this situation (he was deputy director of the insolvency service) and if you didn't use a credit card then your chances of getting your money back are very very slim indeed.

I know that now. I intend on going into the Halifax bank (his bank) and demanding that they help me get my money back since my crappy bank won't do sod all! And the police are about as helpful as a chocolate teacup apparently.

Halifax wont do anything. They are just a bank after all, its not their job to be judge, jury and executioner. Don't you think that this scammer wouldn't bother if it was as easy as that to get the money back off him?

Then nothing. If you report it to the Police and bank etc, then thats pretty much it. Crime pays.

Nothing to do with Gordon Brown at all. Your blaming others when you voluntarily handed over money to someone selling new PS3s for £75.
