Yeah i called it earlier aswell. Think he was suprised I got his number.

Good result though because the number provided on alibaba.com was a dud.

Just an update on my situation incase anybody looks at this thread.

DO NOT DEAL WITH CHECKOUTDVDS.COM

I have been waiting weeks with no goods or refund.

I have had to get trading standards involved to help me get my money back!!!

AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

dam, have you made a complaint to the bank ? I don't think trading standards will help unless he

is selling fake dvds. The pictures on the website show genuine dvds and not the usual DVD9 type

covers. Have you determined if the site is selling fake dvds ? If it is then all the more they are

commiting a further crime by selling pirated movies, apart from fraud.

Thanks for the advice. I will try the bank aswell. I did pay by personal cheque though. Don't know if they can reverse any funds.

I called Trading Standards and they seemed quite helpful. They told me by U.K law they must deliver the goods inside 30 days or refund me.

I'm not sure if its a case of them selling fakes because from they way they keep trying to delay my order, I dont think they ever had stock or ever will.

hey,

they should be all brand new and sealed region 2.

he lists all the latest titles.

Don't trust them - I approached him about his legal obligation as advised by trading standards and he emailed back saying the law does not apply to unsealed audio and video recordings.

Very dodgy.

I noticed them on ebid aswell but they are a new user and have zero feedback.

Not yet. Trading Standards were suprisingly helpful and gave me some good advice. I'll act on that first.

Debbie. Are you in the DVD market?

I already know of a couple of very reliable reputable, genuine suppliers. I can pm them to you?

Do you know of any good region 2 dvd distributors already?
