In jest I know but I must admit I am a little bit disturbed by someone of his age, what seems to be, getting away with this. How did he get to be an advertiser on here again?

I'm all for encouraging young uns to do something with their lives rather than hanging around on street corners terrorising the locals but at the same time, esp after reading some threads on here, I feel that it might not be a bad idea to push more of a don't run before you can walk message over as, thanks to the internet IMO, it's become easier to pretend to be Richard Branson hiding behind a monitor.

Or am I just old and jaded?

You may not be old, but you're certainly wrong.
To begin with, read Anthony's response in regards to how Jake became an advertiser.
Your first sentence about 'young uns' immediately generalises an entire population of youths from a few reports in the media.
This is similar with when things go wrong in business. If he/she is young then it's 'Not sure if young people should own businesses'.

How about looking at individual cases. Jake, regardless of his age, stole money.

You're taking my comments a little seriously when, as mentioned, my post was a little in jest

Admittedly I haven't been here for long but am just being honest about reports I've seen on this forum - I wasn't writing ALL youngsters off.

Whatever the case, there is always a minority who mess up. Jake is part of that minority.

Couldn't have said it better. It is really annoying when people assume all young people "hang around on street corners terrorising locals".
