Hi, just to let everyone know that www.happynike.com are selling fake ipod nano 2nd Gen. I just got stung big time. For a start I only got 4 instead of 5 and not only are they fakes but they don't work either, so utterly useless! They look like the genuine article in every way.

These guys sell other items. I don't know if they're fakes as well but my money would be on saying they were (if I had any money left, that is )

Does anyone know - if I got new internals for these duds, are they likely to work? they are capable of working - they have the menus on them and I can access the files via my computer. They just seem to have corrupted software. Id rather give them to my mates for the price of a hard drive than chuck them.

Hmm thats a good question, I am not sure if it is possible to replace new internals, my only suggestion would to be to make friends with someone in the apple store. I have a friend that works in the one in our local mall, next time i see him i will ask him.

A good starting point is to NEVER go for suppliers with brand names in the title, unless it's the official owners' site.
