Hi,
I thought I'd just make a brief article explaining newcomers to the world of business.

What are suppliers?
First of all suppliers are companies or individuals (like myself) who can provide products to resellers.

What are resellers?
Resellers are again individuals or companies which sell products which have been provide by there suppliers. The most common place to reseller products is obviously eBay. eBay is a huge online market place where buyers and sellers gather to purchase and sell products.

Can I become a reseller?
Of course Anyone can. That's the good thing about being a reseller, anyone can become one. But to sell online you'll need a lot of experience on how to sell, what to sell and why you should sell.

Where do I find suppliers?
Suppliers are flooded all over the Internet. Most business forums (like this one) provide suppliers. It's your job to make sure their legit and trustworthy. Directories are another common place to find your suppliers. But I advise you not to buy memberships just to get for suppliers. Most of the time it's not worth it.

Is my supposed supplier legit? How can I find out?
You can ask us experienced traders for our opinions which I can tell you helps alot

How can I 100% be sure that I won't get scammed
When finding a supplier there are some key points to look out for:
1) Does the price seem right?
2) Is their contact information right?
3) Is their website well presented?
4) Do they look to good to be true?
5) Do they offer safe payment methods?

Where can I sell?
*eBay
*Your own website
*eBid
*Amazon
*Gumtree
Those are just a few examples.

If I need further help, what can I do?
Again you can ask here.

Hope this helps.

I understand your intent on writing this article , But you can buy from real suppliers that do not have nor need a website let alone a good one, Nor do they need to have safe payment methods, Please do not be put off by my comments just saying in the real world this is how bussiness operates for example can you imagine Microsoft paying there suppliers with a Credit Card or paypal, But for first time buyers its good advice to be safe but I think you should clearly say Paypal is not 100% safe and the best payment method is CC but check with your bank first about there chargeback conditions if the deal goes wrong.
Please I am not trying to be negative just stating some addition info that people should know

I understand what you mean and have taken your comments into mind. But I felt that newbies might feel safe (remember these are people who have never done business before) paying by CC or PayPal.

I 100% agree with you that PayPal is not completely safe but it will still do for new traders.

And again, I agree that you won't find wholesalers just online but this guide is only a little starting point
