Oh well that clears it up thanks Titchimp guess he's not sad after all and he probably has a life outside of his gemstones.
I must admit his photographs for his auctions are really good probably one of his
main selling features.

Well quite possibly. I am always glad to see and hear when an entrepreneur makes himself successful.
However, I'm not too enthused about his ebook - whats his competitive advantage? What will he be telling us that other have not already? The sales page does nothing to denote what makes him different... other than the fact that he is a top seller... so are many others.

I think people get too wrapped up in feedback ratings.
You can be highly successful even with relatively low feedback. For instance, you could have a feedback of 1,000 but make £100 profit on each sale or a feedback of 100,000 and make a profit of £1 on each sale? Which of these is the better business?

It's quite interesting that he had so many misspelled words when he operates a multi-million dollar company - how hard is it to proof read your words for an article to be read by so many? The main line in the article that no one has commented on yet is "There are tons of other ecommerce opportunities, too. Just the other day one of our industry competitors (who doesn't sell on eBay) hit $200 million in sales. And their not much bigger than us." By the way, the correct spelling is “they’re” not much… Sales from their competitor are 100x this eBay business by selling in other venues...that should tell all of you something. I'm not quite sure why they're not venturing outside of eBay and if they have, they don't disclose that in the article. My sales from eBay were about 25% of my total sales from 2006. I live minutes from their office Cary, NC.

I would have to say that a lot of the comments that are regarding his selling are very negative. Most individuals are negative when jealousy kicks in. I know that I am jealous he is selling that many products online. I wish I could quit my day job and be doing just that. I would be the happiest man alive. Why judge other individuals when you haven't even met the guy? Yeah, he's been selling before the market was flooded. But, even with the market flooded he is STILL making HUGE profits!!!

I think you might have missed the point of the negativity. The comments aren't jealousy about his business, but more about the ebook he wrote about himself that he wants you to buy.

I seen the negativity on that end. But, I personally see that there are negative thoughts about him in general also.

Talking of feedback. We had a customer who has been a complete royal pain in the butt for the last 4 days. In the end I just told him we sell to 200+ eBayers every month and have never came accross such a rude and demanding (being polite) customer ever! Also told him to neg us and be done with it.

Well, you know what it goes the same as a retail business. You can not satisfy every customer. He may have been what we call at my day job "a moon dust person." That is when all the crazy people come in after a full moon. It is true let me tell you. I could tell you some stories
