Default Fred Perry

Hi

I came across this forum a few months back and have found it invaluable. The knowledge of the posters has helped me. So I have decided to give something back.

I sell on ebay, mainly Fred Perry. There is a lot of fake FP on ebay. To help me compete I put together an email that I can forward to fellow ebayers as requested to try to stop people buying fake FPs.

As the email mentions these forums I am also making the information available here. As I am relatively new to selling I would appreciate any comments on what I have put -:

Have I missed anything out?
Is any of the info incorrect?
When you click the link can you see the photos?
Anything else?

To make sure this is not taken as blatant advertising I have removed any reference to my ebay user id.

If I have done this correctly then this link should show the email -:

Fred Perry

Thanks

Paul

just a quick post before i stuff my face full of turkey yum
you are going to find selling designer clothes on ebay a problem as there is so many fakes around and people are seeing how cheaper they are so they are buying them.or just dont know.
i use to sell stone island jackets for £400 and i get people email me to offer to buy jacket for £60 saying thats what they can get them for on ebay .
just keep going onces you sold a few and get good feed back hopely people will know your selling the real deal and keep buying from you.

I agree totally mate. I am managing to compete (just) but I have had a couple of people cancel bids then when I have checked there feedback later noticed they purchased a fake from elsewhere.

Hi Paul

Nice post and some useful information there (although I havent the time right now to read it all). I hope you can replace the photos though as they're all a bit blurry.

As mentioned in a previous thread, I am interested in purchasing genuine Fred Perry items so if you have anything you need to get rid of then please let me know.

Regards

Hi mate.

Sorry for not replying sooner - been offline for a while. From what I remember from previous posts between the two of us on FP, what we are able to get is around the same prices. Its just I tend to get to FP more often than you (although haven't been over there since begining of December.)

I have sold Fred Perry successfully in the past few months, not just on these forums but to existing customers outside of these forums. I agree, to sell authentic designer clothing on e-bay is very difficult.

If you need real fred perry at real wholesale prices then contact me. We do buy in large quantities but re-sell at MOQ of 10pcs only to give people the opportunity to test the product with minimum outlay.
