Default Wholesalers: How Do I Find Wholesalers?

How Do I Find Wholesalers?

Where do I start?

Reading through your local paper or even the yellow pages might bring back some results, but for the modern day small business the frustration is that there are isn’t a great deal of opportunity to buy wholesale products online. Most of the good wholesalers I have come across actually don’t deal on the net at all. This should change over time, but you should not just limit yourself to searching for suppliers on the internet.

This article looks at the best ways of finding wholesalers. Finding them can be a real hard task but with our guide we aim to make it easier for you.

To find wholesalers, you must think like one. If you were a wholesaler, how would you advertise your business? How would you get customers?

You have to know what you want to buy wholesale first -if its sportwear then which brand - get direct to the source and cut out middlemen - eg phone Nike ask them for a supplier in your are- its that easy..all the big companies have wholesalers they supply to - or a distributor for an specfic area like UK - who then deals with the wholesalers

I take it you haven't been in touch with the likes of nike , you have no chance buying wholesale nike , they only deal direct with retail shops .
As do a lot ot he the distributors for major brand holders only deal with retail shops.

An important lesson that I learned within the last 2 years is that you have to get off the internet when you look for wholesalers. Some of the really big ones you will not find online (at least for clothing). Chances are that they have an email address, but hardly anything to do with the internet apart from that.

You will have to go and meet them, thats the best way to start.
