Coincedence?

I just signed up with these this week. Everything went really smooth and the product range looks really good.

I'm off to Benidorm in a few hours for a week but I will be placing an order as soon as I get back it looks like a nice niche business to be involved in

I ordered from this company last week, after having a 1 hour telephone conversation with them, I ordered 2 small items as samples, that they stated to me were in stock, I paid using PAYPAL and they took the money without a problem.

I have phoned them, and can't get through, I have emailed them, and get NO REPLY and all I have been asking for is a delivery date.

Luckly I only spent £40.00, but I have now gone to a PayPal claim against them, they are based in the UK and have a UK VAT number so I hoped I would be safe?

Regards

I have had an email to say the goods will be with me on either Wednesday or Thursday.

If they turn up, I will happily re-draw my above coments.

Hi Forum,

I would like to clarify that the above user has indeed placed a sample order. At point of ordering he was e-mailed and told that his goods had missed this weeks despatch, and would leave week commencing 28/04/08. The telephone number left is always engaged.

I work for a legitimate company, and welcome anybody to either visit us in person, or contact me on 01472 211144 and I will provide them with a contact detail of one of our existing customers who can be asked for a reference.

We try and accomodate order both large and small, but I am sure that most of you guys will understand that we can't dictate rules to our factory contacts on the basis of a sample order for £40. Sometimes, we have to just employ rules we are given, which is in this case one, stock consignement per week. Otherwise, logistically, we encounter problems. Our customers are not usually more than 1 week from delivery on clothing items. We always try our best.

I do hope that no body on this forum is put off in anyway, and welcome legitimate companies to visit our site www.gravisuk.com or contact me in person on 01472 211144

Update,

I received the following email, via this forum to update me on the situation (Been edited to hide compan personel details).

Please call me on the number in large numbers on the front of the web site. It is xxxxxxxxxxx, or my personal mobile xxxxxxxxxxxx. I have been trying to contact you on the number left on your application form, but can never get through. The items are ordered and will be with you wednesday/thursday. I also e-mailed you to let you know you had missed this weeks shipment. I reall y do take offense to your quick judgement, like the spamming suggestion.

Please please get in touch, or come and see us at the premises. I will also let you speak to one of my 250 accounts, some we have had for 7 years.

xxxxxxxxxxx

Update - No Delivery either Yesterday (Wednesday) or Today (Thursday time now 17:38).

Goods have been delivered today Friday.

The quality of the goods is excellent, and I would have no problems recommending this company to other members to purchase from.

The only issue was delivery, maybe the company should let people know, during the order process that they ship on a Tuesday, and should you miss that shipping day, your goods won't be shipped until the following week?

The price (as trade) that you get the goods for allows a nearly 100% markup for re-selling, but their are other cmpanies selling the same goods on eBay at a very low price, so maybe eBay isn't the best place to maret these goods.

I havn't used their dropshipping service - so I can't pass coment on that.

Overall I would give them 8/10 with 2 points dropped for delivery, and the fact that others are selling the goods at a lot less price on ebay.

Regards
