Default Musical instruments/equipment dropshipper

I'm an ex-sound engineer and I'm looking into drop shipping musical instruments/equipment. I specifically looking to deal in foot pedals, effects, drum machines, amps, speakers, PA systems, mixers.....etc. Brand name only though, like Boss, Roland, Fender, Makie, Hartke....etc. Does any one know of a couple of good drop shippers I could use.

The only one I could find on the net was www.wholesalemusicwarehouse.com. But I'm still a little skeptic about them. The BBB gives them a decent review but they are not a member. Has anyone used them?

It might be better ringing people like Boss and Roland directly and asking them for accounts..

Alternatively, go to some shops near yourself, and ask if you can buy wholesale from them or work on an affiliated scheme where you earn commission for everything you sell for them....

Default musical instruments/equipment drop shipper

Good point, but I've tried that already. They well sell directly if I've got the capital to buy in bulk and stock it myself. But at this point I'm just beginning to start selling on-line (sorry I forgot to mention that). I'm looking to do mainly drop shipping to gain the capital for bigger ideas I've had in mind. I trying to start selling product like the foot pedal first maybe small mixing boards and amps, because they are sturdy and less likely to be damaged during shipping. Thus saving me in possible return cost, not to mention the hassle.

Going to local music store for advise might work but I would think they may be hesitant to help and see it as competition. Do you think so?

It wont really be any competition for them, as remember, the more you sell, the more they sell too. Worth asking them, as the saying goes, you dont get if you dont ask

Agreed!

They may dropship for you, though I've never seen a music dropshipper, so you might be unlucky there...

You may have to stick your neck out and buy some stock, If you start on smaller items it should be ok.

alternatively, find the cheapest site then find an item that sells for more and buy loads
