Default Dropshipping Perfumes

Hi everyone.

Im new on here so be kind.
I have been dropshipping for 8 or 9 months now and im interested in the perfume market.

I have been reading on other forums for a while but never come across a final answer on whos good to use in dropshipping perfumes.

Companys are either suspect to supplying fakes or prices aren't competitive.

I know its hard to come across companys but
does anyone on here know of a company dropshipping perfumes that is good to work with ?

Thanks
Gav

I think the problem you are having getting a reply is that the perfume industry is very segmented. There are no "perfume distributors" in the sense of major wholesalers of many brands. Most perfumes are distributed by importers with exclusive agreements with a single brand or manufacturer.

So anyone offering a legitmate selection of perfumes is buying from a number of importers, possibly a hundred or more. And since exclusivity is part of the overall sales process with these products, there is little need to sell outside established channels.

A specific distributor is going to sell so much, no matter what, so why upset the establishment for a couple of quick bucks at the expense of losing their sources?

I'd say if you want to get into the perfume business online you would have to buy surplus / shelf pulls, etc. and sell from your own inventory.

Hi Pete thanks for your reply. That makes a lot of sense, thanks.
Its my girlfriend thats looking to set up a website but wants it to be something she has interest in. Perfumes isn't the best option though. We shall think again.
Thanks again.

At the same time though if anyone does have a good dropshipper in this business let me know

Have a look at Devilwears website - you may well find what you are looking for there.
