I have a full time job and do dropshipping here and there. I don't know how succesful it would be as a full time job.
I deffinately wont be planning on doing it full time, get too many problems along the way. Better to have someone pay you a wage and not have the hassle.

That's your opinion. Needless to say I doubt many here would agree with you.

It definitely can be done, if you do your research right. The dropshipper as well as the product has got to be spot on.
I used to dropship very successfully about two years ago, I only stopped because I had to travel out for a year to deal with some personal issues, and it wasn't possible to concentrate on it as well as deal with other things at the time.
I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things though, and when I do I'm sure it'll be better than receiving a monthly salary.

Question:
By dropshipping , do u pay first for the product and you sell it after ?
Or do you sell the product first and pay the supplier after?
With DOBA, it's when you selling the product that you pay them. Is it like that with every dropshipper.

Yes - that's the whole idea of dropshipping. You only pay when you get an order.

The problem with dropshipping, or at least those interested in dropshipping, is that people think it is an 'easy' way to get into business.
Dropshipping is another method of doing business, but will require that you put the effort in. You will only get out of it what you put in.
There are serious numbers of people who just list the products from their dropshipper, either on ebay or their own site, and expect them to sell themselves. This attitude does not work I'm afraid.

Amen! I can't tell you the number of people who have paid me to put up a cart for them to sell dropshipped goods. Doesn't matter what the products, it works out the same. They open a hosting account and I install a free cart for them. It sits for awhile, then they pay me to actually do the whole cart, enter the items upload the images, all the rest. They even want me to write the About Us and such pages. I refuse that, tell them I'll put up what they provide.
So, I end up with a single site hosting account and $ 100 or more for the work and within 3 or 4 months they haven't sold the first thing. They cancel their hosting and throw in the towel. I preach finding a niche, doing some seo, maybe some PPC. Nope! Build a site, let it sit and wait for the money to come in.
Yeah, right!
So many really believe that a website is a gold mine with the gold just lying on the ground. They hardly want to bend over to pick it up, let alone dig at all.
One forum where a bunch of them come from I post stuff like this, they say "that won't happen to me", they pay me and 3 or 4 months later they haven't done a thing. I try and talk them out of it and they just have to do it. I like money as well as anyone, but I like to feel like I'm helping someone, not just sticking my hand in their pocketbook.
