I answered your post in another thread on dropshipping.

Your opinion would carry more weight if you weren't posting an affiliate link.

And telling us of your experience in the world of dropshipping / wholesaling / importing might also help to show you are truly knowledgeable in the area.

Drop us a pm if you're interested, we have one of the best if not the best supplier of these.
Why would you want to go around telling people, if its so great? No matter how strong the product is, your only going to loose sales by telling others. Hardly makes good business sense. If your making a good profit from it, keep quiet. You tell people and all they'll do is cut you out of the chain!

Also, I don't know what your using to calculate your selling fees, but I recommend you stop using it.

Oh, and I'll have a guess at the product, iTrips by any chance?

You're right, we might lose sales, but when they look at the product and compare prices, they'll see we can get them the cheapest, we're that confident in our supplier.

With our sellers discount our fees are roughly £0.75 on each.

There are many suppliers in the US who stock these (if it is the product I mentioned). I remember seeing them at $5.25, that was nearly a year ago! Plenty of sellers on eBay, too. Maybe you can see something I don't, but even if people buy from you, their still taking your customers on eBay. Personally, I'd carry on getting the 30 sales per day and look for a second product to sell alongside it. Then look for other products to wholesale.

True, but there is still enough demand for even 5 new sellers to start selling. We've experienced a bunch of new sellers and to be honest, sales have been the same. We just sold another 2 now!

Say if you ordered 100pcs. That would be £5 each. That's £500 investment for a £1000 return! Also one of the best things about these is that they're small, there's no need to spend tons in packaging and postage.

We've made a thread for these too.

At £5 each the average seller, non PowerSeller, could probably squeeze £2 to £2.50 margin. For a PowerSeller who qualifies for the discount, add 20 or 30 pence to that figure. So from a £500 investment, its more like a £250 return/ profit. But the volumes there, to some degree. I know of somebody who was shipping 500+ of these out each month, solely from selling them on eBay. Maybe just take a look at your calculations next time.

Best of luck with them, anyway. :niceone:

We've worked out the exact fees.

This is how we usually sell them on ebay

Price: £10.90

Buy It Now

The fees(not including powersellers discounts)

eBay Listing fee: £0.25

eBay Final Value Fee: £0.41

Paypal fee: £0.51
----------------------------
Total = £1.17

That's without the sellers discount which at the very least would be 8p off

----------------------------

£1.17 fee + £5 price = £6.17 total cost

You're right it isn't exactly £5 but it's £4.73 which is still alot for such a small price.

hmmm...from your eBay feedback it doesn't seem that you're selling 30 per day or I'm missing something? Also, it seems that they are selling for 7-8 quid on eBay.co.uk

Unfortunately, not every ebayer leaves feedback.

Just sold another one!
