Welcome tae the forums Gilly. Am from Scotland masel, based in Fife but heading tae Inverness fur a wee holiday the morn.
Whaur ur ye fae?
[ahem] There are a few reliable links to dropshippers in the marketplace on the forum here and also plenty of hits in the search function.
You won't be given names of the "best" dropshippers here as they are preciously guarded by those who don't want to help a competitor but you will be helped, nae encouraged to find your own with the tools available to you.

Thanks for that, I figured that would be the case with finding the right companies to be looking at. May be you can answer one question for me??? Is it worthwhile? Can I make decent living dropshipping?
i'm in Livingston but from East Lothian originally!!

Quite a few people make good money doing dropshipping, but its generally something you do as a part time venture or as a stream of business combined with other operations.
If you are still employed full time, dropshipping can be a great starter business and when the time comes from expansion, you can build on your already existing business.

No doubt that dropshipping can be a good business model. Only thing - please make sure you're fully aware of disadvantages it has to avoid any disappointment later on.

You meet all kinds on a forum. I'm one that's all for dropshipping, and can find few negatives with it.
But you must understand there is no "all round" dropshipper.
Most are typical wholesalers or distributors who supply normal retailers and professionals. They also will ship single items for you to your customers under your name. That's dropshipping.
But, they are going to be electrical distributors, or hardware wholesalers, or clothing whloesalers, not one big "everything for everybody" type company.
So, if you want to offer a large range of productrs you will have to deal with more than one supplier. This can be a problem, as they may have different shipping policiies, particularly in how they figure costs. Also, different warranty and return policies make it hard to have a single policy on your site.
It's best to find a product type you'd like to concentrate on and then find the best source for that line.

Thanks everyone for all the replies, I really appreciate it. I am still however none the wiser about where I should start, perhaps dropshipping isn't for me. I want to find something i can do from home that will earm me a couple of hundred pounds a week. Any bright ideas??? I don't have a lot of capital to put in, (maybe £100). All healp greatfully received!!
