dropshipping success storys

i know sometimes dropshipping rightly or wrongly gets some bad press......

Has anyone had real sustained success with it over number of years and made a very decent living out of solely using dropshipping?

i think its best if you buy in some stock, and dropship other stock, maybe the more expensive or less popular?
I am probably going to do this with my website.

Yes, I did quite well at it for a couple of years. Then went to a mall, but kept dropshipping, as well. Set it up as two different operations.

Then a lady wanted to buy the retail and the dropship both, so I let her twist my arm.

Within the next week or so I expect to be online with a wholesale dropshipping operation for dropshippers to use as a source. I had no intention of doing this, but a guy just kept hammering on me until I gave in. Going to start very small and see how it goes.

Just don't know how it will be received. I really have a lot of other things going on, but the guy thinks it will be a winner. Should be interesting.

Well, I don't know about all that. Still have to have a desired product and reasonable pricing.

Just ahve to see how it goes and how the items are received.
