Hi TWF,

a bit about me - a while back I used to sell video games retail from the usual places, it was more of a hobby than anything then I was promoted and no longer had the time. Before that I had a small dropshipping set-up selling mobile phone accessories so I have experience in dropshipping and in video games. Unfortunately I was made redundant beginning of the year, but this has given me the push to get back to the dropshipping, esp video games as with my research I have found hardly anyone offering this

So in short, I have the suppliers, I have the experience and with my payout I have the funding

Ok, that's the boring bit out of the way let's get to the good part!

You will see attached a zip file, this contains an MS Excel spreadsheet showing titles currently available along with prices delivered to your customer's door, there are nearly 600 titles for all the main formats on there AND with more to be added as I get accounts set back up with the suppliers

As I am basically selling at cost so there will be a small monthly subscription of £19.99. The ONLY reason for the subscription is for me to make some money as I am literally just adding postage to what I pay, then passing this straight to you, so the subscription is effectively my labour fee!

Now this will start out as mainly a video games dropshipping, but I am also looking into adding mobile phone accessories as well using my old contacts and I have a couple of contacts in the UK where I can get unbranded electronics (mp3/4's, phones etc) and am also in initial talks with 2 suppliers in China to bring in unbranded myself as the price will better and will have a wider range - but this is a while off though, however will be added to the same site under the same subscription

Now, the main question: would anyone be interested? If so I will get an initial set-up going to get the ball rolling, then get my friend to build me a full site specific to dropshipping, not using the usual ecommerce cart software currently available

PLEASE NOTE: This will be for UK only to start

You can register your interest here:

All questions and feedback are welcomed

Thanks

Matt

Also Just check one price in google - Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and I am looking at amazon current price -

Sorry for any confusion, the prices shown is ALL you pay, this is total price including VAT and delivery to your customer

Please also note, prices will come down once I start placing regular orders with suppliers

Definetly interested - keep me updated at: eds_up [at] hotmail.co.uk.

Can I suggest offering a two tiered membership platform? Like a free membership option where you pay a margin ontop of the price of the DVD (to cover your labour costs) and a paid membership option (with this margin reduced)?

If not, can you offer a 12 month and lifetime subscription option as well?

Best of luck!

I had considered offering a free account as well and adding a mark-up, however given the margin in games is tiny as it is, for me to add anything to the price for me to make money per unit would eat into the bulk of the profit to be made

I may consider a 12 month subscription, but to be honest can't really see that many people wanting to pay say 10 months for 12 upfront, although any feedback on this option is welcomed

hi , i think for smaller and start up business like myself offering a slightly higher price for labour ontop would be a good way to go , then once they have established themselves with there customer base they will be able to upgrade to the monthly service
cheers x

I prefer to pay for longer periods and/or free membership. If people want to try you out for service, then it need not offer massive margins. Saay something like "FREE membership, get 10-15% off with our Premier Dropship Account".

Lifetime membership should be included if your looking at 6/12 month membership options
