Think of drop shipping in this way finding a line that sells over and over maybe 7 a week find 10 of these. Your then making £35 a day with a 50p margin and what do you do for this? login for 1 hour at 4pm.
All this depends on finding the right drop shippers off course but it is possible

Questions like this, just seem pointless. Its like saying, oh well yes, the sky is blue, and!!!!, the point being!!!!!!, just makes no sense what so ever.
Now can i ask a question, how much would it cost me to buy retaill, one pair of shoes.
This thread is quite old, but I'll respond anyway. You can expect to make a higher profit on luxury goods, going right down to small margins on popular electronic items which are highly competitivly priced. It all depends on
(1) demand
(2) availability
(3) what the competition is selling for
(4) what your dropshipper is prepared to allow you to make.
For example I dropship branded designer sunglasses, and usually my clients will make a 20-25% mark up on them.
If they bought them outright they would make more 33%-40%, and that's because I charge an admin fee for my time and trouble, providing stock figures, processing shipping and handling orders, and providing shipping info.
