My plan is to sell via indipendant DVD rental shops and Indipendan game shops. Offer the store owner a profit share. Get them to take the order from thier customer before placing the order. I am offering in store delivery for or home delivery, direct to the customer for £1.99 (which is great as it cost me the same), I am in the middle of putting together a small catalogue, may even buy a few samples that can be displayed in the shop windows.
I have had a bit of interest from 3 stores that are quite local to me, Just an idea. I also do a market so will be making the catalogue available on the market too.
There is the bvious....ebay, play and amazon (might as well list everytjing on amazon because its free to list) But I have also read that offering worldwide shipping or simply listing on Europian ebay sites will increase sales.
I have a few more ideas too but dont want to share everything lol. My point being of course that ebay is probably saturated and although still worth doing, if you think outside the box there is money to be made
Good luck

Competition is everywhere Mark, in just about everything - it's well worth checking areas to find gaps in the market before committing to anything.
We will be adding posters on Monday, EU shipping available from Monday on these lines also.

Hehe, I have done! Probably not enough, but some. Just waiting for my days off so I can list a lot more itmes. Oh and are the fees automatically recurring or will I have to re-subscribe each month?
As I said, I'm not looking to smash the market, just a few extra pounds. I bought a box of crappy dvd's a couple of years ago wholesale, and surprisingly managed to shift them quite quickly. Fishing, cars, etc, but wholesaler closed since :-( Amazing what people buy!!!

There are a few dropshippers that like to charge recurring subscriptions, we don't... I personally know what it's like when you forget to click "cancel", or cannot find the option in Paypal to do it.
We do not charge recurring subscriptions. This way it is upto the customer to choose if wanting to carry on with this service or not.

Thats perfect. At least its only £19.99 invested if it doesn't work out... and its only 1 click away to re-subscribe if it does take off for me.
Thanks guys, I think thats all the questions out the way now!!!

Re: Inferno Dropship - Now Open!
FINE-TUNING...
We shall be taking a step back next week on product uploads, to look more closely on improvements that can made to Inferno Dropship. Although things are running great, we have noticed a few tweaks that we need to look into, helping improve our service;
* Mailing List (some of you have said that you have not received our special offers, and private membership announcements). Our current website only has a bog-standard newsletter tool, please remove our mails from your junk box and add us to your contact list to ensure that you do not miss out.
* Order Tracking (there have been a few cases of delayed tracking due to order volumes). From Monday we will have a new system whereby your tracking info (if selected) will be displayed in the "notes" section of your order sheet. This will help save you time asking for tracking and is vital for those who sell on requirement platforms such as Play.com.
* Product Location (Large product volume - can be time consuming locating the right product). We are looking into breaking down the categories even finer to allow users to find the right product quickly and efficently.
We would like to hear of any other areas that you feel may need looking into? Although no problems so far, we feel that everyones input will help provide a more solid ground for an even better service. It's not just the products and prices that are important here, but features and improvements to ensure every penny of subscription is being invested in a hard working, and reliable service.
Looking forward to all input of areas for improvement.
Regards,
Steve - Inferno Dropship
