Ok guys here is the deal.

I tried and tried but could not complete the order using the order form online. So I emailed them direct and received a response within 24 hours from a sales manager. He explained there was an error on the ordering side so orders could be placed directly with him. Also soon they are launching direct ordering from the site with a shopping cart system.

I have just placed my first order this morning and the handset will be shipped tomorrow by EMS and tracking forwarded.

From reading the thread there are a few questions I know we all want answers to so will try my best here:

Warranty - First off all products are 100% genuine. Standard warranty is 14 days to protect DOA. The $20 extended warranty only covers the handsets withiin Hong Kong therefore if a fault occurs the handset will have to shipped back to them at your cost where it is either fixed or replaced and shipped back out (this is free).

Payments - For the trial orders PayPal is accepted and no extra fees on top - made my payment this way today and all seems fine. Additional order payment methods are TT (international bank transfer) to a HSBC HK account and PayPal with the 3.4% fee.

Shipping - Shipping offered is EMS or Fedex and to be honest neither are cheap. I paid $31 for 1 item to be shipped via EMS. So in my view even though it is offered dropshipping could be hard due to the shipping costs eating into the margin - unless you charge of course. Where I do see this being an advantage is in bulk orders as ever the more you order the cheaper they become.

Personally I think this is something a lot of us have been looking for and once I have received my order I will repost to give an update.

Cheers,

Chris

I am very interested in buying a sample phone. The only thing i don't dwell on is having the capital to do so + the handsets are valued in USD and when you resell something on ebay in AUS and dropship it the fees vary highly. Ahhhh what to do. Bookmarking there site for sure.

The only downfall i can see is that you cannot view the products until you have registered an account. Will this be changed, or is this staying as it is?

To be honest I do not know. The account does not cost anything and the actual products are on an excel list without pictures.

As far as I can see it will remain free. I registered a few days ago and have spoken with one of their sales reps. Things look good, it'd be interesting to see how your order goes.

Hi Guys,

So update.

My phone was dispatched Friday and arrived this morning via EMS. Fully original and IMEI matched on the box.

Very well packaged and it arrived with a UK plug!! Also when powered on the language was set to English as standard.

My thanks to Tommy at Discovery Trading and looking forward to future business with them.

Cheers,

Chris

But still some seller in Ebay can sell it lower than the price that Discovery is offering! Like iphone 32G 3G S!

Prepare for a million people telling you what is wrong with that statement.
You can't just consider one or two eBay sellers and base your whole business model around that.

Well Im a newbie and every time I check the products in their price list and the market in ebay and try to compare it and all i see is people are selling it cheaper and thats not it they're also on top of search result and they are powerseller with good standing and professional presentation!

For ebay, its alright if you already build up a good reputation maybe you can compete but for me.... I'll pass on that!

For selling outside ebay probably yes!

Perhaps you aren't in the right business then.
