@ cjgtrading, this seems a bit too good to be true to me, some prices seem a bit cheap, how much on top did you have to pay on the list price? may i ask what you ordered?

Hi Steve,

Nothing extra on the list price - just shipping which was $30 for via EMS. I ordered a Nokia 7100 Supernova as was low cost. I have just listedd on eBay and have images of it if you would like to see them?

Reason for the low prices is they are Hong Kong original items therefore are cheaper - as usual with imports there is the risk of tax to pay on top.

Cheers,

Chris

I honestly believe they are genuine and with PayPal for your first order you cant go wrong.

sorry for the second post. Certain phones there seem really cheap to me. Also at the top of the price list there are two of the same phone for different prices?

All Im saying is Im a newbie and for me to compete with other sellers that already build up their good standing is to sell cheaper than them! And in that way buyer will take their time to look at my item and think of buying it. In that way I can do business!

Steve - Shipping was $30 for 1 handset via EMS and I was lucky as was not picked up by customs so not VAT.

The devices are HK specification but shipped with original Nokia UK adapter and handset default language was in English.

I can say these 100% genuine as I have for Vodafone UK for the last 7 years so know a thing or 2 about phones.

The thing you have know is, as the handsets are HK original the warranty is not covered within the UK and the standard warranty is 14 days for DOA. FOr $20 you can have the warranty for 12 months and the device will need to be sent back to them.

Reason for the difference in pricing on the 3GS's is one is white, one is black - always a price difference for more desirable colors.

There are some products you could dropship no problem, however to make savings would be better to bulk buy in.

Hamleic - You will struggle either way on eBay when starting out as a newbie unless you already have at least 50+ 100% feedback and been trading a while. I have found that starting small and building up is the way - perhaps look at different product lines with lesser value to sell and get some some quick feedback.

Hope this is helpful to you both?

Chris

Which isn't helpful, as you're only lying to yourself in regards to your true profits.

Very helpful thanks a lot for your time, just thought id check in with someone who has experience trading with these before i part with my cash!

It was the two 3gs's on the list that are of different prices i was referring to thou?

As regards to drop shipping what would happen were any products to be picked up by customs and would it be a problem if they were?

Also what are the outlining differences between hk and uk spec? Are the manuals in English?

Thanks a lot for your help
