Hello,
I'm new in this drop shipping world. Lately I keep researching on finding good item to sell, and also a good dropshipper for the item. But, I found none!
I've click alot of user signature in this forum, inferno dropship, gamejelly, dropthegoods, tvc-mall.com, none of them is suitable for me. Why?
First of all, the price. Lets say I want to sell Xbox 360 Official Wireless Controller a Gamejelly which cost me USD38, without shipping cost. I take some time to research the item on eBay, as I want to be a seller on eBay. Yes, lots of people are looking for the item, but lets take a look on Complete Listing, the one that has been sold. Take a look at this, they sold it at $USD30, with free shipping!!
I take a look around on lots of product, the same case happen. Most seller sell item alot cheaper than what I see on dropshipper website.
Yes I know some of them have their own supplier, or they buy it from wholesale and sell it one by one.
So my friend, how a dropshipper, can survive if things like this happen? I don't have a clue on how to sell product from dropshipper company anymore because at last there's people who sell the same item lot more cheaper than me.
Sorry guys, I am not here to whining about this, actually I want to get some advice from all of you, maybe tips, item potential for me to sell, a potential company, anything.
How do you dropship successfully?
I am kinda lost now.
Thanks guys. I appreciate your time for reading this.

Regards.:niceone:

If you havn't got a huge amount of start up capital behind you then you are never going to be able to compete in these areas, unbbranded electronics is obviously a possibility but the main thing to bear in mind is what will sell well enough for you to make a living, not what you know about or enjoy.

It always amazes me how every new seller thinks they automatically need to be cheaper than EVERY seller on eBay, whilst at the same time beating Amazon and Play's prices with ease. It's not possible.

Market your products. Get yourself a name. Make people believe that buying from YOU is the right choice.

If you walk around thinking 'I can't beat Amazon's prices, there's no point', then you shouldn't be in the business.

Thanks for your advice. Yes sir I realize we should increase our popularity, sell quality things with reasonable price, and therefore buyers will keep coming to us and we can keep making profit that way. But sir, as I say I am new in this business. Lets say I sell electronic product, quality item, reasonable price. There's no way my product can be seen by alot of people as my item will be listed on page 89 instead page 1 because I didn't have much feedback. How can I build my reputation by just selling quality product with reasonable price, yet my item only be seen by some people? Yes it is not impossible but it's a long way actually. That's why I come to this forum, making a new tread, asking if someone can show me a way.

I ship out thousands of US Dollars worth of the unbranded electronics and phones (and DS Lite consoles) each day. So I can tell you there are people worldwide selling them and making money doing so.

On a weekly basis I will pick up one or two new resellers who begin sending in multiple orders on a daily basis and they can be from all over the world.

Most come after reading about me on forums, then stay when they find they can pay online and then the next day their order is on it's way. No holding for "verification", no extra fees for joining, just sell an item and it's shipped the next day.

I can't tell you how to sell in your area. But I can tell you there is a market there if you work at it.
