Default how you started with DevilWear

hi
i've recently purchased a platinum dropship package from devilwear. As i am new to this business i would appreciate any advice.
Obviously i am doing lots of research into what products to sell, i am most probably going to be selling through ebay.

Has anyone got any advice on where to start? is it best to begin with cheaper, low end products and then build up to the more expensive goods.

thanks

When I started with DevilWear I couldn't actually find anything to dropship from them and make a decent profit, I ended up ordering wholesale and selling on

Be very wary with systems like this. I honestly think it is better to stick to these forums.

Are DevilWear not a member of these forums?

I am sure I have visited their site via this forum at some point and found out they are only based about 20 miles from me.

Correct me if I am wrong.

I believe they are associated with this site as I have seen them around too. I have never purchased from them myself. Wholesale generally allows you to make bigger margins on goods from my own experience in the past.

Apologies if they are. I assumed this was another of those 'Give us £100 and we'll give you products at £X so you can sell on' and they turn out to be terrible.

Just had a look again.

They seem like a retail site, with the prices open to the public. And they also tell you exactly what your getting for your money.

i.e.

"This program is completely free of charge but we do ask for a £9.99 deposit which is refunded on your first order.

Alternatively, why not become a gold, platinum or ultimate dropshipper with added benefits. Gold dropshippers benefit from 10% off every order for 12 months for just £30 per year. Platinum dropshippers benefit from a massive 20% off every order for just £50 per year. Our ultimate package gives discounts of at least 20% but up to 80% off our advertised prices!. Discounts only apply to individual products priced £100 or under but discounts on higher priced items are available.."

What annoys me in the first sentence is:
"This program is completely free of charge but we do ask for a £9.99 deposit which is refunded on your first order."

Total ********, it is not at all free of charge, as they do charge you before you can use their service.

But overall mate, from what I can see, they have all their prices open to the public and you knew what you were buying and the % discount. It is up to you to do research on anything you want to get involved in before you spend you hard earned.

OP.

Do you use eBay much?

Are you familiar with the system?

The reason I ask and this is how I work out my purchases before I spend my hard earned. If I think I may have a bargain, I go to the eBay site, type in the keyword/keywords relating to that product. Once the search results have come up I then use the side panel and click on completed listings.

This then gives you all the recently ended items (sold or not) relating to your particular product. From here you can work out whether it is worth purchasing this product and getting it out into the eBay system.

Please take note that a couple of weeks can make a massive difference to particular products. So if you have a niche product, get it into the system before everyone else joins in.
